SP101 grip inserts

From a search of the forum and an online search and phone call, I guess Lett Custom Grips has closed their doors.

Is anyone else out there making inserts for the SP101?

There is a guy over on rugerforum that makes them.

I'll find out his name and get back.

"41 Magnum" makes them. He has some pictures listed in the classified section and his last post was on Oct. 26th.

He has 15-20 to choose from.

His inserts are great, and he really stands behind his product. I ordered a set for my GP100, and when they were too thin to work with the factory screw (I probably lost the shorter one he usually includes), he made me a brand new, thicker pair at no charge! I also bought a set for my SP101, very nice.

These arrived over the weekend. The wife is very fond of green.

That thing was so hard on my middle finger, I had to get Hogues. The insert thing is neat, I just can't handle the grips.

Mine came with the wood inserts; I bought a pair of plastic ones so the wood ones wouldn't get messed up. Although I don't plan to abuse the gun, I'd rather not have real pretty inserts on it that can get ruined if I'm going to carry it.
