Sp101 transfer bar issue?

I just noticed on my sp101 that the transfer bar is able to flop back and forth when cocked. Is this normal?

YES. Its also very normal for these guns to go bang every time and hit what you aim at. I have 3 rugers and a 4th next up on the short list. simple, mechanical and effective.

It's deliberately a somewhat loose fitted piece so it influences the trigger pull the least and is less likely to stick/bind a dirty or fouled gun.
