I just got a sp101 2in with a ported barrel and it has a spurless hammer

my question is,

is it possible to replace the hammer with a spured hammer to permit SA fire

Sa/da guns vs dao guns

The model that you purchased is a DAO (double action only) variant of the sp101. By replacing the trigger and the hammer units you can convert it to sa/da these parts will have to be fitted and timed for your gun but if you want to spend the money it can be done. This is only because ruger offers a sa/da model of this gun and parts should be interchangeable with fitting.
