Even after selling down last ten years and giving away to three sons who appreciated them, I still have half a dozen K frames and I love each one with my old , Nickle 2.5 " Model 19 about at the top of list . I just bought another old , weathered but little used Model 1905 4th Change depression era 4" factory nickel K frame in 32-20 because it is glass smooth and I didn't have a .32-20 other than a 7.5" Colt SAA for SASS and I load .32-20 and cast the bullets in gang molds. I got this one for $300 as the finish is untouched with its blemishes and basically set for 50 years in a sheepskin gun rug after someone fit later K frame grips to it . Wait till you see how it will look after I get done with a detail strip and Flitzing on a soft wheel all the parts ! Yes a gouge and flaking here and there but it will look like an old Blues Song Special ! I like the .K frame for the .32-20 as the Police positive has a much thinner walled cylinder., and I am tired of fiddling with old school Colt lock work. I had a Colt Army Special in .32-20 in the 90s and it was bigger and beefier but the K frame has a better double action IMHO and is just right. Here is old UGLY as I bought it , It is stripped down right now as I polish it out .
