More specifically, the 6.5 Creedmoor.

I have an RCBS Rockchucker Supreme setup. I got it off of a guy who didn't have time to reload anymore, and I haven't yet done a lot of reloading. Just basic stuff like .357 hunting loads and I've watched my father in law do some .223.

I have been reading about the 6.5 Creedmoor and would like to start loading for it, but I understand some special equipment is needed? I don't exactly know what a reamer is/is for, but I need one? Basically I have been told that reloading this cartridge is really expensive, but I can't find what component of the process that makes THIS round any more expensive than a ballistically similar round...

Welcome to THR, PrimaryClone.

Do you have a rifle chambered for the Creedmoor?

I don't think the cost of loading it will be too much more than a standard caliber.

Don't be offended, but you need to use your in-law's loading manuals to learn more about reloading and familiarize yourself with firearms and their terminology.

Nice score on the Rockchucker
