Speer 155gr Frangible Rounds

Are these Speer 155gr Frangible Rounds (45ACP) suitable for home defense? Does anyone know the ballistics on this round, FPS etc.

See if they even function in your auto first. They may not cycle. A little expensive to put a couple of hundred though your gun to make sure.

It functions fine out of my 1911. They sell these for 9.99 a box at the local store.
