Those powders should be great for those lighter bullets. And yes accuracy is always more important than speed. But speed has its place. Poist what you get when you test those loads. I have some 75 and 80gr bullets on hand.
You bet I will. I normally load up three shots each starting with a certain load and work up with .5 gr increments. It never ceases to amaze me how one load will shoot terrible and then the next .5 gr load shoots a tight group! I loaded the previous loads just to get an idea of which powder will generally shoot the best. 3031 and varget have always shot the best groups but I've never tried 4350, 4064, 760 or 4895 before. As soon as the ice box outside warms a little, i'm going to try the loads. I'll keep u posted

I've nearly taken 100 deer. But just something about the 06. I like shooting it but just don't have any luck with it. Trust and confidence is huge, 7mm are my go to.
I've had unlucky guns. Carried a 257 Roberts and couldn't see a deer. Grab my 300 WSM and things happen. It doesn't do anything that my 30-06 or 270 can't do, but it is a Lucky gun.

I have taken a few deer with the Grand Slams and they worked swell, but my 243 doesn't like them. It will shoot the 100 gr, HotCor sub-MOA, but the GS groups run 1 1/2- 2".

the current load I use in my 243's and 7mm/08 for both 85gr spitzers and 100 gr spitzers, both Hornady bullets, produces and 5/8"x3/4" hole at 100 yards. That's why I use the loads I do! However, i'm going to try different powders in both to see if I can get better results, but I doubt I will!!
