What did everyone else get?

Congratulations BUT.......................

BE CAREFUL with that 22a. It shoots very accurately and I love mine to death BUT the finish will come off if you use a brush and hoppes for cleaning. The finish is baked on.
Also, when you take the barrel off, be careful of the back hook piece that locks the barrel in the rear of the gun. It is made of monkey metal and WILL break off rendering your gun useless.

Just an FYI.....................

Happy shooting!

I dropped some ducats on a 1920 Rework version of the Broomhandle Mauser - and I don't know whether I'm going to get a refund. Disposable capital. If I was smart, I'd have bought something that was tax deductable.

Unfortunately mine has to go to groceries, bills and other living expenses to support my wife and I. :(

If I could afford to spend it though I think the first things I would buy would be a Milt Sparks Versa Max II for my XD-9 sub and a new pocket knife (possibly CRKT M-16) because I lost my SOG Pentagon.

What did everyone else get?

I'm lucky if I can get through 4/15 w/o a four figure reaming.

However that does mean that the .gov hasnt been using my money for free for most of the year :D .

my mom put stipulations on my tax check spending:cuss:

she said since she is buying me a Sig for my 21st in just a couple weeks that i couldn't buy another gun:fire: with my tax check. That if i chose to spend the money i could ony purchase a digital camera.

not too bad i need one anyway.

That's ok, we need pics of the Sig :neener:

How was FL? We were talking about you as we were sending rounds down range (mainly cursing you & the eye candy that you were enjoying  ).

:scrutiny:

:D

One american made iffy but, spiffy and three foreign pieces of interesting actions. OK. Please step back. Research, research and more research. If you are going to buy, please, buy something special, interesting or rare and collectible. I have been seeing your collection grow. I haven't been seeing many outstanding individual pieces. A salestroll is there to sell razors to billiards balls. This is NOT a flame. I have been where you are, in your shoes. I spent money. I moved S&W Model of 1902 Hand Ejectors in 32-20 aside to buy Ruger P-95s. It is so easy to buy. You did well for the amount of money spent. This is not sour grapes. I know you are buying many handguns. I am glad. I hope you buy many more. I had my buying checked by a friend. My friend steered me to a better course than I was on. I have been grateful for that advice.

florida was GREAT here are some pictures!

Miami Trip

you'll have to hit the sigforum since they allow off topic stuff.

Sorry for the slight hijack the detour has now ended.

Thanks for the advice Josey.

I've been moving to historic revolvers and divesting my collection of stuff I didn't like anymore.

The Glocks were to see what the fuss was about. I like em alot so far.
The beretta was a cool little side track.
The S&W 22 was a deal too good to pass up.

I'll post a pic of all my stuff on the handgun forum.

Weren't you the meathead fussing & moaning a couple of weeks ago that you didn't want to go & would rather hang out here & help send a couple thousand rounds downrange in an afternoon. Trust me, you got the better end of the deal (not that there was anything wrong with the fun that we had, just in comparison....)

Oh, to be young & dumb again ... :D

(Give me a yell & we can go play again sometime. Perhaps we can drag the tile crawler out for some fun also ;) ).

Slight detour to the detour now ended :D .

You had way too much of a refund man!

My wife got $600 and I got $400 of the refund, I picked up a SIG Pro 2340 with that since it was only a little over $400.

Due to my poor college student income, my tax return was about $51. That'll buy a few mags for the SAM-7 i'm getting this weekend.

My wife is making me use ours for a down payment on a house. Cant say for sure but a house don't look near as fun as the new Sharpes & Tommy Gun I had picked out

UDel doesnt seem to do withholdings (they withhold $.10 per paycheck) so I owe Delaware and Maryland about $200 total. The Feds are giving me back a whole $6. *shrug*

OK. I saw your collection. Did you get two Nagants for a reason? One single action and one double action maybe?

The folks at century had a deal: one nagant for $109 or 2 for $84 each with free shipping. Saved $40

clubsoda22 did you deduct your education expenses? I belive there's something new this year on that.

I got a Ruger Blackhawk in .41 mag and bought my son a Beretta NEOS.

Haven't gotten my refund yet. My taxes are annoyingly complex this year-I moved, and what was my primary residence (mortgage deduction) is now a rental property (different rules). Plus, since we moved, my wife's old employer hasn't managed to get her W2 to us yet.

But first priority is a Kimber Ultra Carry and CCW class for my wife. Then maybe another toy for me. Rifle type, most likely.
