"Sportsman's Warehouse" store

wow, this thread struck a chord. Some observations:

Larry, precious! :)

DFW sounds like the sportsman's mecca with all those stores.

I've always thought that the leading edge of the bottom of shopping carts ought to have padding mandatory on them.

OkieCruff, yap, I'm sick of that too. As you say, *I* can order it. But, with the demise of Southwest Shooters, the traditional best reloading component store, and since neither Outdoor Outfitters nor Outdoor America Store stepped up to the reloading plate when Soutwest Shooters began shutdown, I will not feel bad buying from the new Sportsman's Warehouse.

If the SW here is one heavy on the EBR & reloading stuff, then I think my wallet is gonna be VERY thin from here on out. :D

Funny coincidence - I just got one of those packages of coupons (Val Pak?) that advertises sales on mostly useless stuff like concret staining and kitchen cabinet refinishing and for some reason, I went through it . . .

Good thing, too, there was a "$10 off any purchase of $50 or more" coupon from the local Sportsman's Warehouse store, good through October! :D

I guess next weekend I'll have to drive up to Round Rock and see what to spend some money on. (I-35 up in that area is supposed to be closed off all this weekend, so I think I'll just wait a week.)

Yesterday was the grand opening for the Marana store out this way. My hunting buddy flies in from Korea (tour's over) tomorrow eve and I am planning on taking him there Sunday. I'm sure after being there for a year with no hunting whatsoever he will enjoy himself. :D
