Springfield has brought out a rendition of the high-power.

Any one know of retailers actually selling, gunbroker.com has them auction only. Springfield say Msrp is 700 and gb is pushing 1200+.

Larry’s Pistol and Pawn in Huntsville, Alabama, had a bunch late last week and every one of them sold…

Not sure when he will get another batch.

No worries bro, but weve had 2 or 3 really lengthy ones in the last week or so.

That does say something about the splash this gun is making. Biggest news in the gun world since the new Python.

I found out about it this morning and have spent all day trying to find them.

If I can find the "normal" priced I plan to sell my last couple colt 1911s and buy 3 or 4 SA-35. I like the high power, but hate dumping money to get modern features. The SA 35 is the answer

Wait a couple months and they shouldn't be too hard to find at close to MSRP.

Unless........

There is much speculation the raw frame and slide forgings are being sourced from Turkey and that nation is on thin ice with the State and Defense departments over human rights and NATO compliance issues. It wouldn't take much of an incident for the Biden Admin. to ban small arms imports from that country, such as they have already done with Russia.

WELL that killed my hope... but I can still hope it works out.
