Yep...Assuming that it's within spec and correctly tensioned.
If it's been consistent for a thousand rounds or so, it'll
likely be good for 50,000. Remove it for cleaning every so often, and clean the channel too. If the channel gets gunked up in the front, it can cause some issues with returning to battery. I normally detail-strip about every 2500 rounds for routine maintenance and cleaning. Check the extractor tension often and adjust if necessary.
