"What is the loaded coupon anyway? Is it just a bunch of coupons for stuff you don't really need?"
The one I got for my M1A had a lot of varied stuff, some pretty good, some just so-so, all at reduced prices (except for the 20-round magazines). It can vary. I don't think I'd choose a Springfield Armory JUST for this reason, but it might help. It's basically an offer for accessories at reduced prices.

It's not so much a coupon as it is an accessories flyer with discounted prices. Some items pertain directly to the gun itself, for example I picked up some spare magazines. Plus there are offers for other Springfield-branded things like cleaning kits, knives, binoculars, etc. The prices seemed reasonable, competitive with deal hunting on-line, but nothing really outstanding.
The loaded coupon is a good thing but not a great thing.
BTW, I think I ordered about a half dozen different items from mine.
