Has anyone purchased a new Springfield XD .45 ACP yet, and if so what do you think? I am thinking of making one of these my next gun purchase.

I'm a big fan of the Springfield XD's; especially the .45ACP~!

Got my Springer XD .45ACP package gun (2 standard capacity mags
13+1, holster, mag loader, double magazine pouch, cleaning brush,
lock, allen wrench, doc's including first production run cover from
the sales manager at Springfield Armory, fired cartridge case dated
12-13-05 and a Springfield Armory hard plastic case). My price OTD
was $399.

$399!!!?? The cheapest one in my area is $479!

XD45ACP

The price Ala Dan paid is pretty close to dealer wholesale. Us mortals, in the consumer world, will pay more. I've been quoted prices of between $459 to 489. I'm on the list, still waiting for mine to show up at my local (Atlanta) dealer:banghead:

"My price OTD

Guess, that's one of the benefits of working/owning in a gunstore.

I will more than likely pick up a XD .45ACP Tactical when funds permit.

Wouldn't happen to know if that XD had a sibling available at your store, would you?

Greeting's Again XD Fans,

Actually, the only Springfield XD package gun we received was this one,
and it was kind'a like a promotional gift (one each) to dealers who sell
Springfield products. I had my eye peeled for its arrival, and the stork
landed the week before Christmas 2005. I have seen 'em on auction sites
priced at $560 + S/H. Would I sell mine for that? No way, Jose~!:D
I haven't had a chance too get it to the range just yet; but that is
'bout to change I hope?:uhoh:

You wouldn't part with it even for a fellow Vols fan?

Okay, I can't say that with a straight face. I'm an East TN native, but I went to Vandy. The last season was divine retribution. ;)

You know buzz my friend-

I really do LOVE 'em VOL's; but the Springer XD .45ACP ranks right up
there mighty close. If you happened to be in this area, I would most
certainly let you shoot it, but I couldn't part with it~!

BTW, congrats to you and Commodores for last year's success. Its
too bad Vandy didn't make it to a bowl game; as I was really pulling
for them. Also, congrat's to Jay Cutler (Vandy's QB) for being named
the SEC Player Of The Year~!:D

Hey, Vandy did go to a bowl. The Scholar's Bowl. ;) That's the only one we've ever made.

Thanks for the offer. If you were a wee bit closer, I'd drive down just to try it out. I've shot the .45 GAP and wasn't thrilled by it. I'm hoping the ACP is different, as I really want to like this pistol.
