Springfield XD 45 slide thickness?

How thick is the slide on the Springfield XD 45? I'm thinking of the compact model, but the slide thickness is likely the same on both models of XD 45.

How does the XD 45 slide thickness compare to the Glock 30? I know how thick the Glock 30 is, so that is a good reference.

If you define "thickness" I'll post whatever you want to know. Do you mean height, width, side wall thickness, thickness of the top of the slide or ???? I can easily and accurately measure whatever you'd like to know.

I'm guessing he means "width" as it's a very important characteristic (IMO) for deciding on a carry gun, and also a measurement which is (annoyingly) absent from Springfield's website.

Ok, here are some basic inch slide dimensions from my XD45 Compact:

Width: 1.097 (including side steps)
Width @ top: .958
Height: .945
Height of side steps: .375
Length: 6.966
Side wall thickness: .211 (including side step)
Side wall thickness: .142 (above side step)
Top wall thickness: .120 @ ejection port

Dimensions are all within .0005 (one half thousandth) of actual, no guesswork in this shop!

The Glock 30 is 1.125. A Glock 32 is 1.015 Doesn't look like much difference, but it's very noticable.
So the XD is no wider than the Glock at the widest point on the slide and noticeably thinner where it tapers.
