Great story, IO too love to hear hunting stories. My favorite hunting is squirrel then rabbit a close second.

I have a place down on Pom De Terre, that sure is some nice country.

I love Squirrel hunting

I sure like stories like this!! I still have yet to get out this year and shoot at some squirrels. I have always used a 10-22 for my squirrel hunting. I do like having a fast second shot if there is more the one squirrel. I skin and then freeze them. When I am well stocked I give them to my dog as a treat. I don't mind eating Squirrel but no one else in the house will eat it except the dog.

I really think squirrel hunting is close to tops -- I hunt elk, deer, turkey, ducks, and so on. But in squirrel hunting, you do real stalking -- over and over. You get more hunting to the mile with squirrel hunting.

Squirrel Story but not hunting related

I was a young pup and I chase a bushy tail into a drain pipe once. I got a trash bag on the end and started to bang the pipe and the squirrel fell into the bag. Well I had just seen a movie in school were they showed astronaught training. I proceeded to swing the squirrel around and around in the bag over my head. He must have gone 200 times in a circle when I dropped him out of the bag and onto the ground in front of my. I still bust a gut thinking about that squirrel falling over dizzy and running in a circle trying to reach the nearest tree.

I'll probably spend some time in hell for that one.

Copied this from another site. This is my idea of a squirrel story :)
Enjoy

I decided it was best to just buy myself a new pair of gloves. And a whole lot of Band-Aids

Go back and read post #14!

I lost it reading that post!

I found this old thread while searching for what ammo to use in a 410 to hunt squirrel.

Good story!

Like I said, I was looking for what ammo to use in a 410 for squirrel hunting. This thread was one the ones that came up. Post 14 was nuts!

One of the little buggers chewed the wires on my van to the tune of $175.
