Is it possible to have a stainless barrel(well any part for that matter) blued or parkerized?

It is possible to blacken stainless steel in a process like bluing although with a different chemical bath.
Robar does it.
I don't think you can phosphate (Parkerize) stainless.
It can also be blasted and coated to about any color.

Cool, because i was thinking about getting a bolt gun in black but i wanted the burability of stainless

Parkerizing is done in a stainless steel tank and the tank remains unchanged.
