Staball 6.5 I 250-3000/250 Savage

I am endeavoring to work up a load for 250 savage using sta ball 6.5. I have found data for a 115 brain Nosler ballistic tip, and a 100 grain soft point. I’m wondering, does anyone have any information with a 110 grain Hornady FTX bullet? I have some data using other Powders, but I was just curious if anyone else had used it in that combo?

Use the 115 BT data as a starting point ... that is what Nosler said to do when they introduced the 110 grain Accubond ... but I was using .25/06 ....I don't see any reason why it would not work in your cartridge.

Working up from a heavier projectile is standard practice if the material is the same.

For sure ... I only been reloading since 1965 .... It was true then and now ...
