I have been thinking about building an AR in 6.8 SPC, and what I was thinking about was using a Stag Lower as they have gotten great reviews here, and are also in my price range.

My question is how much do Stag lowers usually go for? I went to their website and I didn't see any lowers listed on the site at all. I requested one of their catalogs, and I'm hoping they'll have them in there.

Anyone have experiances with Stag lowers? I've read a little about them here, and everything seems to be good so far...

Also...I forget the companies name, but they are advertising 6.8 SPC uppers in the new Shotgun News Treasury #5 for $365. That seemed like a pretty damned good deal to me and I was wondering what kind of prices 6.8 uppers are generally going for right now.

Mine looks real nice. $108 out the door (8.25% sales tax) at a local gun show.

i picked up 3 shortly before the awb ended, in anticipation of doing no-ban builds. paid $77.33 otd for them, and stuffed armalite internals in them.

dunno how they could mess the color up... they are either black, or they are not. mine are black. fit to the various uppers is very tight - the guns are very solid.

getting ready to buy a few more lowers and will go w/ stag again. fwiw, mine came from eagle firearms.

You can get one complete with lower parts kit, and an A2 stock for $199 or with a 6 position collapsible RRA stock for $215 from www.eaglefirearms.net That's where I got mine, and it's been flawless, fit and finish are perfect. Stag is the same company that makes Rock River Arms lowers, they just put their own name on it and sell it for a little bit less money.

I'm sort of picky when it comes to quality. I have two Stag lower's and I'm very well pleased with them..........Essex County

wow, those prices for complete rifles are $200 out of line,

dude. geez.
