Anyone know if the .380 and the 9mm Star pistols use the same frame?

Any 9mm Star is much larger and considerably heavier than the Star .380s.

(One of the jokes about the Stars -- which are fine guns, by the way -- is that they are so heavy that if you can't shoot the bad guy, just drop it on his foot, and he'll be out of action for a week.)

I've had several, and prefer the Star Firestar model, which is double-stack (with 10 and 13 round mags available.)

Just about anything you want to know about the Star line an be found at this site: http://www.star-firearms.com/firearms/guns/firestar/index.shtml
