This is a slicer I made up for Thanksgiving. 1095 that was clayed and has a faint hamon but I liked the polised look better. Handle is ebony up front an sugar maple in the back bamboo skewer for a pin. I pooched the quench so the heal is a little soft. Still need some wood work and polish before I put the edge on it. Good practice and start to the large batch of W2 and 52100 knives that are waiting on my heat treat oven to come in.
