I meant falling in love with my.....

After, I ordered and paid for my S&W PC N-Frame 327 R8 M&P Scandium Aluminum frame (8 shot .357 Magnum) last December, I discovered online the new (To me) S&W PC Model 627 V-COMP S.S. V8. Stainless steel (8 shot .357 Magnum).

WOW! Why didn't I know about that gun first? I would have bought that one instead.

So not knowing if I was even going to like the lighter Aluminum 327, I kept it on order. Well, the gun turn out to be awesome, but I still wanted the 627 V-COMP. So I placed an order for one with an expectation date of a March, or April. Well, when they came in, it was the same gun but in Two Tone. I asked the gun store owner when the S.S. ones were coming in. He said it depends on S&W making a run of them for RSR distributor. Which RSR no longer has it in there lineup of 627s.

So after waiting almost 6 months, I decide to order the Two Tone (TT) because I don't see any SS ones coming in any time soon. I wasn't real fond of the TT in the photos, but once I saw it in person wearing a wood grip, it really is a nice looking gun, but I really wanted the SS one.

After getting it to the range, MAN! LOVE AT FIRST SHOT!

That is one nice shooting gun with the DA trigger is so, so smooth. I let gun store manager shoot it for me to do an accuracy test at 7 yard. He made a group the size of a 50 cent piece. Hard to beat that. I let the other staff members shoot it too, and everybody was very envies of me and my gun, and these are real gun guys.

At the end of the night shooting about 300 rounds, 100 were .357s. I took the target out to 50 yards. I got 7 out of 8 in an acceptable take down areas of center mass.

Well, I paid $1175 total for it and it seems like I got a good deal.

I can't wait to shoot in again, and share it with all my gun buddies at the range.

PS, I owned a Taurus 608 4" 8 shot .357 also, and although not as nice as my new V-COMP. It's still a nice gun too.
