Two I got from a State Trooper Uncle when he died in the 70s.
A Colt Police Positive .38 and an S&W 520 NYSP gun (he bought) , I also have a Colt Cobra from the 60s he carried. He liked "convoy jacks" , I had this one made.
Foster brother Jack
I put those stocks on because I like them, still have the mid 70s original ones
Funny thing the .357 is the most naturally accurate one I own (of many) putting 158 grain +p .38s into bitty groups OFF HAND at 15 yards out DEAD ON .
The PP Special is smooth and also hits to the sights with 158 grain ammo. I believe my Uncle carried this one on duty his last years of service in early 70s
I am a little confused here. My Uncle died in 1981 after several years of cancer from all those cigs. He got out of the State Police around 1975-76 after 30 years the last 7 inside the barracks. He told me he bought this gun in 1979 I thought. So if they were only made in 1980 as I am reading what's up?
