Has anybody used steel cased 9mm? Academy has "Monarch" laquered steel case 9mm FMJ... its even cheaper than Blazer aluminum cased 9mm. Its basically the same as Wolf or any of the other Commie-made ammo.

Has anybody had any problems with fail-to-eject or the laquer gumming up the chamber?

I'll be shooting it through my Ruger P95, if that makes any difference.

I've put several thousand of them through a P-85 without any issues whatsoever. The Ruger is the only gun that I'll put steel cased ammo through that isn't specifically made to use it. Otherwise, I'll only use it for SKSes, AK's, Makarovs, and the like. If that ammo is similar to the Wolf I shot through my Ruger, it's smokey and stinky, but accurate enough for plinking or training. Reliable ammo but the primers are hard. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot it through a Ruger but be careful in other guns. It costed me an extractor in my Marlin Camp 9. The Wolf .45 ACP is a different story though. That stuff is horrid and out of spec.
