I shoot steel at my grandparents property and I was looking for new ideas. We have an Osama bin Laden. White towel head. Black beard. Its funny as all heck. We want more. Anyone have ideas for who else we can shoot at? Ill trace a blown up pic on a sheet of 3/8. Then cut it out with the torch or plasma. It would be fun having a gang of anti gun politicians on the range. (All steel targets not real life humans) Come on guys. Give me your best ideas. Or send me a pic of your mother in law and I'll copy her. :D. Hahahahahs

I prefer shooting at the Chicken, Boar, Turkey, Ram silhouettes myself. It is a recognized game, and if you get good at it, you can shoot the same in compitition.

Somehow, no matter how much I do not like a particular human, I do not like shooting human silhouettes, even steel ones. A leftover from Vietnam I guess.

I can understand that man. Something's are not for everyone. I like the rams, chicken, gopher idea. Ill get some thick stuff and try that on the rifle range. I personally like double tapping steel. Bang bang crack crack. I love steel. I'm a welder by trade (sometimes :D) and work well with steel. I'm designing a dueling tree as we speak. It's gonna be sweet!!

I prefer reactive steel, something about seeing it fall. This one is as close as I get to human.

The TX Star is always fun, more so with counter rotating no shoots. Click on photo to play.

My version of the tree.

Auto plate racks are a great way to keep everyone up range and plinking away. 5 8" circles are super for 22's @ 200 yards or free hand pistols @ 50. The 10 plate rack has 4 2", 4 4" and 2 6" and reset is on the last 6", if you can't hit the small ones just keep on going with the larger plates.

Awesome. I just might steal an idea or 2 from ya bud. I like the rotating target. You have some good ones and looks like you took the time to do it right. Good job man. I'm definitely going to build some of those. Thanks for the pics buddy.

How about a computer Prairie Dog Town.....pop up out of their hole in the ground aided with air pressure, when hit they fall over and go back into the hole to reset. Lap top computer program controls which ones come up and when they go down.

Spinners made from John Deere planter trash whipper, sealed bearings allow it to spin like a weather vane. Can be adjusted for horizontal or vertical movement.

I like the pop ups but the spinner with the weld at the edge will send back too much lead.
