I've gotten the majority of mine from Arntzen target, I don't think you can beat their portable stands:

I drilled some holes in 1/2" A500 steel @ 150 yds with some .30-06 AP. I didn't think it would go through it but it did. No more on steel.

I am in eastern N.C. Ironworkerwill , I am looking for at least 3/8 in . thick and maybe 14 by 14 in. I can have the mounting holes drilled locally . Thanks for the response.

RSR in Apex N.C. does a line of AR500 steel plates and they ship. Extreme outfitters in Jacksonville N.C. carries them in thier store.

Glad you like it. Any turkey with a torch and access to some scrap plate should be able to make one for you. Let me know how it holds up to the 45.
