Can I put a savage accutrigger, say from the 110 into my stevens 200? If it matters I have the .308 cal. If not can anyone helpe find a better trigger for my rifle? Or improve the existing one?

Love the gun, hate the trigger.

I'm sure the trigger from the Savage will work(although I've never tried it). I solved my Steven's 200 trigger woes with an EZ-Pull trigger assist. For about 40 bucks it was well worth it with aftermarket or Accu-triggers costing much more than 100 dollars.

No you can't put the accutrigger directly onto the Stevens. The accutrigger requires extra material to be milled from the trigger mounting area and without sending it to a machinist you can't use the accutrigger. There are a few aftermarket triggers out there. Rifle Basix makes one. SSS which specializes in Savage parts makes a few triggers that are real nice. There are also older Savage triggers out there that are decent. Go to savageshooters.com to look up more info. That place has a ton of savage specific info.
