I'm sure Ruger sold a lot 10-22 takedowns just because they were takedowns. I'm sure a lot of takedown pump shotguns would sell for trunk and travel guns. I've been tempted to get a stoeger SxS for travel because of its compactness. Yes, only two shots. My plan if I ever needed to defend myself would be to use it and transition to a pistol. I always bring a pistol when traveling and legal in states I am in because it is compact.
