Anyone know what all these little stamps mean on the right hand side of the Steyr M95/30 I got at Big5? The big S (8x56r) is stamped over W-n-20, which I think means Vienna 1920.

I believe that's the "S" for Stutzenkarabiner. There should be another, larger "S" on the top indicating it's chambered for the newer round.

I believe the little bird is the double Eagle of the Hapsburgs. And maybe that's a later Austrian lion(?) can't quite make it out.

Thanks. Yes, there's a big S on the receiver over the W-n-20. I didn't take a photo of that. It almost looks like three different kinds of eagles.
