STI. My TargetMaster in .45 for any occasion, anyday of the month. Incredible pistols with the FO sight installed by Dawson Precision.
I just took possession of a an STI Trojan (9mm) from Brazos Custom with their 3# trigger and some other go fast goodies. I can imagine another "low cost" 1911 coming close to the fit of the Trojan. It's super tight but functions just fine with my 135pf. The only gun that comes close to operating as smoothly is my W. German Sig.

Not yet, but with our current administration's immigration policy, it might not be long.
Back on topic. Their DA/SA handguns, GP5 & GP6, are also made outside of the Republic of Texas.
