I recently picked up a NIB Taurus 605 .357. And have recently noticed that the cylinder sticks in while rotating to one cylinder. When trying to be easy and stage the trigger in DA it can be difficult to pull the trigger. If I release the trigger and hammer and just spin the cylinder while still in the frame I can feel it sticking almost as if it's rubbing on something, yet I see no evidence of any rubbing. If I swing the cylinder out there is no problem it's spins freely. Anyone else come across this problem? if so how can it be fixed?

I don't think it's the extractor rod, cause when I swing the cylinder out it's fine. It's only when it's locked into the frame

There's athread somewhere here on THR that describes how to fix this problem. The ejector rod and the channel it runs through are often rough and need to be polished. If the little spring loaded rod sticks, it will prevent the cylinder from turning by not pushing in that little button in the breechface. In fact, the latest issue of Gun Test had a short blurb explaining it as well because the Taurus they tested had the same problem. But look on THR first - there's a thread a link to photos of how-to.
