I have not hunted Osceola National Forrest in years. The area is North and South of I-10 in North Central Fla. Does anyone have any tips or hints on where to go nowdays?
I have all the maps, and my GPS. I know where the dog side is, and the still hunt areas. I just need to be pointed in the direction of an area that is productive.

Thanks,
Sam

id give bow or muzzle loader season a try if you really want to kill something, the dog hunters have the deer so jacked up during general gun that the deer wont move untill late night.

might try south of I10 but if you hunt north of I10 remeber dogs know no boundries and most of the guys that run the dogs dont give a rats A$$ either.

i plan on hunting bow season there next month but im going else where for general gun season. it blows my mind that people actually hunt deer with DOGs down here.

Osceola seems to be one of the last places the dog lovers can do their thing. I will be happy when its finally stopped.
I am going to mainly hunt on private land, but since Lake Butler is closed, I thought Osceola might be an alternative.
