I heard the ATF wanted to reclassify the Stinger Pen Gun as an AOW?
Did this ever happen?

I have not been able to find anything about this on the web.

Whatever happened to Stinger Manufacturing Corp?

I think they went belly-up. If the ATF does make 'em AOW, then they're not liable to sell ever again - you can get true pen guns under the AOW tax stamp.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I love that little thing, its so cute. Even though i don't own one (banned in Cali), ive shot one, and they are really cool.

Someone told me they had been reclassified...

But I cannot find any info about it...only that they wanted to..

I have seen a few advertised for sale.

The stinger pen gun came in .22LR, .22Mag, or .17 RF

I also hear they made a .25 ACP and .a 380 version too.

They fold in half and a trigger drops down. Becuase they fold, the ATF considers(ed?) them a standard handgun.

The Brady wackos and the retards at the VPC had a hissy fit when they found out this thing existed...and pressured the ATF to reclassify it. I was wondering if it ever happened...

The Stinger pen guns that have to be folded into a "pistol" shape in order to fire are not AOW's. They were AOW's at one time, but the BATF changed their mind on this back in the early 90's and made them title I guns.

A pen gun that is able to fire without having a grip perpendicular to the barrel is an AOW.
