I thought of that, I gotta feed all those guns somehow...............Just think of it, folding/ collapsible stocks, normal capacity magazines, bayonets fercrissakes !!!!!! Is all that cosmetic stuff is really gonna make mindless criminal zombies out of us all ????????????????? NAHHHHHHHHH !!!!!! When I was a younger man, we used to go and chase the sheep around the pasture for fun ! Didn't know what to do iffin' we caught one though.................................
I've been thinking about buying ALL the various "evil features" - carbon fiber foreguard, CAR type collapsable stock (or maybe a folding stock), bayonette mount, everything I can find...
...and bolting them onto a Marlin 357Mag levergun.
On the flip side here...when the WASR-10s and stuff start dumping and get down to $100 I am going to buy some stuff no one wants anymore...cheap. As long as they work and are in good shape. (I'm basically set on regular capacity already so I just want to have fun with some stuff I can abuse).
I'm betting that the prices of NIB rifles and such will not see a significant price drop. Magazines will likely be priced about what you see for LEO mags now. Where I expect to see the real drop is on the used market. No more $100 Glock 19 mags!
And, yes, I will be in the buying mood, come 9/14!
I have been contemplating getting a folding stock on my AK 103, but yesterday I realized that I never did like these before the ban was about to expire, so why should they suddenly become attractive? Irrational exuberence may be hitting us all. The only change to my AR I think I'll add is a collapsible stock.
I've thought about it, but so far haven't convinced myself that I need to buy a gun.
I've always been against "assault weapons" but through gentle explanation and persuasion from several knowledgable friends, and from this site, I've come to realize that my view on this subject has been very wrong.
I may, however, buy a gun just to celebrate the death of this law.
