Holster for a Stoeger Cougar 9mm

You will find that most holsters for the Beretta 96/92 series will work for the Stoeger Cougar. I use my Gould and Goodrich Yaqui slide for mine all the time and we have a local holster maker here who makes a generic belt slide holster that works for almost any handgun very well. The squared off dust cover and the shorter barrel/slide length make holsters like the DeSantis Speed Scabbard a little bit of over kill with the length issue. My Galco shoulder holster for the Beretta 96/92 works as well. Good luck. I use Kel Pure Silicone spray on the interior of my holsters as well and it allows the tension screw retension to work well and still lets you draw quickly and effortlessly. Good luck and good shooting.

grips are on the list but a holster is first then a speed loader cause the clips are a pain on the thumb

Cool, thanks! You may have led me to my tax refund gun purchase! Thanks for the info!

Bought mine last night. First handgun purchase! I looked at everything under $600, and decided on the Cougar. It fit my hand better than anything else, and seems well worth the money.

Cash price was $399; I paid $416 because I used a credit card. Gotta pay for convenience, right?

Looking into wood grips and gear now. Like I needed another expensive hobby...

let me know what you find in the way of a holsters there is way to many out there
I think I may go with a generic style instead of one form fitted in case I get another pistol big bill posted some links I may get one of those
and I think the wooden handles would look great on this gun

now Im looking for a small safe to keep it in (kids in the house)
