I am assuming they are Baretta manufactured sold by Stoeger? Prices seem to be approx $469 with a 5 year warranty. Anyone have any experience with them. Thanks,
Some time after Beretta stopped making Cougars the machinery was transferred to Turkey and now the guns say "Stoeger" on the side (and cost less), but it's the same gun built on the same machinery.
I had a full sized Stoeger Cougar in 9mm, it was a great gun that I later gave to a buddy for his 21st bday. They're a well kept secret, not too many people seem to know about them. Never have seen any of the compact versions in my area, but IMHO you can't go wrong with them.
The Stoeger Cougar is made in Turkey with original Beretta's machinery. Stoeger is also owned by the Beretta Company.
In my Country (Italy) is available the Stoeger Cougar 8000L which is the compact version of the 8000. It comes with two magazines: a 10 rounds flush one and a 15 rounds one with a grip adapter. I think they are good guns for the money.
