Well I guess where you come from the girls don't fight when they're mad. I on the other hand have seen women do some damage when they decide to fight. So in a situation like this it's up to woman whether she wants to come out and get cuffed with her hairdo in place, or whether she wants to fight, and therefore force needs to be used.

Just because it's a woman, and the officers are men, does not change the reality that woman can, and often do, attack and injure people, incuding LEOs, and woman can and do resist arrest in such a way that makes it impossible to get them controlled without, "raising a sweat or bending her hairdoo."

Reality is much different than what some people delude themselves into believing.

There are a lot of ways to get someone out of a car and the taser is probably the best way to get someone out who is really fighting to stay in. I would wager that if someone was trying to get me out of a car with just the use of empty hands and no striking that it might take them a while, and they might not get it done. The same is true for handcuffing. Would you rather the officers grabbed her and yanked her out causing probable bruising (also risking her head strinking something), struck her, or simply tased her causing no lasting effects?

After watching the video, the Officers actions were appropriate. The "lady" was verbally abusive, non-compliant and BREAKING THE LAW !!!!! speeding, broken windshield, taillight, suspended license etc..
I have no symphathy for her at all. If you or I acted that way how long would it take your state to revoke you CHL??? how bad of a butt whipping would you have gotten ??
MATURE adults comply with the Police, they do not abuse, hassle or give grief to those that are sworn to protect us.
I'm sure that if something happened to her child she would be calling the poooolice, not her brother.

Heh. No joke. An ex-LE friend of mine once told me that the worst butt-whupping he ever got in uniform was by a female that he outweighed by a good forty pounds. She just didn't want to get arrested that day, I suppose.
