The question there comes in with the pooling of money. There's no mention on that form of someone giving you money to buy something for a 3rd party.

We all know it's not a straw purchase, but there may be wiggle room there if they were to decide to be total a**hats about it.

The report is seriously sketchy at best. All it says is he shot the guy with the gun his son gave to him. Could be the dad has a conceal carry, maybe son bought the gun as a congrats on getting your permit, heres a better gun.

I legally bought a rifle for my sons for christmas. Bought 30.06, and 3 .22's. They guy behind the counter knew what I was doing. And he said it was perfectly legal. Heck I think he wanted to be at our house on christmas morning. Another time bought 2 7mm for our 14 and 12 year old. Man the guy behind the counter was so happy to be fitting them with their first hunting rifles. Got all into bore sighting them, then started throwing in slings and cases. Think those boys could of walk out with everything in the store if they wanted too.

Last year my brother and I went in together and bought my dad an AR15 for Father's Day. The store owner knew this and had no problem with it. We didn't both pull out our wallets at the store though, I put up the cash and my brother paid me back. I'm not sure if that had any bearing on the situation.

This does leave me with two questions though:
1. How the heck can we top that this Father's Day?
2. When the heck am I gonna get an AR15 for Father's Day?:D

Glad to see another story with a happy ending, unfortunately this is very close to my office.

In regard to a permit, in Georgia you don't need a permit to carry at your office, in your car, or in your home.
