I have a cz40p with a decocker but unlike most decockers CZ's don't fully decock, it actually lowers the hammer to almost a half cock position but not hardly that far back. My question is if I leave it stored this way for HD how much strain am I actually putting on the springs since its decocked and the hammer is just barely being held back?
BTW I am guessing it won't put near as much strain on this gun as it would others that don't decock such as a 1911 but I want to be sure and don't want to end up with worn springs from being stored with it ready to go.
