I'm in the process of building a ar15. Had it all put together and yesterday at a gun show, I got a m4 stock kit for it. Came home and tried to change them and the a-1 tube that I put on 2 months ago is stuck solid. Tried Blaster and WD-40 and even a little heat with a torch, but it won't budge, even with a pipe wrench. Any ideas?

Mix a little acetone with automatic transmission fluid.

Let it ease on into the threads. Setting it out in the sun if possible and applicable helps.

Strap wrenches work wonders generally over pipe wrenches.

Any chance you damaged the tube and twisted it oval? There isn't any other reason for it to get stuck unless you over torqued the nut and didn't remove it.

+1 on the ATF/acetone mixture. In the future, you can prevent this problem by using some type of anti-seize on the threads at assembly. Aluminum on aluminum is very prone to galling in the threads, which is probably what has happened to you.
