I was resizing and de-priming some .38 caliber brass this weekend and must have missed one with the lube. Long story short, the case felt tight going up into the die, so I stopped and tried to remove the case to give it a spritz of lube when the case broke in half.:banghead:

The die set is RCBS and since the case split in the middle there isn't anything to get hold of to extract the case from the die now.

Any suggestions on how to remove the stuck case or do I just need to send it in to RCBS?

Do you have a friend that has a machine shop???? A few minutes with a lathe and it is done. Or send it back to RCBS, they will fix it, call them. When its fixed, put it in the box and go buy a carbide sizing die and add it to your set and never have to lube a case again. Doesn't matter what brand of carbide sizing die, just get one.
Good shooting!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to E-Bay, and get a carbide die/die set. Send to RCBS for replacement, and put up old die set, or sell to a new reloader.
