Stupid question of the week: I can't use a Gen 5 trigger housing in a Gen 3 Glock, right?

I tried my Gen 3 G19 and the ejector does contact the rear of the top cartridge... but with the .40 mag it's much worse and obviously is problematic. I shot 3 more mags full with the 9mm mag and 9mm ejector and it worked okay but the last case dribbles out or goes to the left.

Good.

Then I would try 9mm mag, .40 ejector, 40/9 barrel and .40 extractor.
Okay but explain to me again why I want to use a .40 extractor when I know it was at least partially problematic/FTE and I'm not going to be shooting .40 through this gun?

Was the .40 extractor ever used in conjunction with Gen4 .40 ejector?

If not, I would give that a try.

Okay:

New 9 mm ejector new 9mm extractor new 9mm mag mostly 3:30 ejection, no BTF so far, last case piddles out or goes left.

New 9mm ejector .40 extractor 9mm mag mostly 3:30 one case to the head out of 11 rounds.

New .40 ejector 9mm extractor results in above thread

New .40 ejector .40 extractor 5:30 ejection or over shoulder/head. With 9mm mag 2 BTF 5 to shoulder/arm, similar results with .40 mag plus one FTF with .40 mag.
