I was on the lookout last week for one of the Vortex Sparc II red dots to mount a new Kel Tec SU-16 but midway was out of them as were the two gun shops that I checked. The owner of the second shop recommended a similar red dot made by a company called Styrka. I decided I'd try it out, so brought it home and mounted it. Fired a few shots to zero it and then about 50 more just for fun. I don't have much experience with red dots but it seems well made and durable. It came with a few handy accessories like a lens cloth, honeycomb filter, and mount riser. The warranty also looks impressive, covers anything but theft, loss, and intentional damage, and allows for a free annual tune up at the factory.
I looked around online but couldn't really find any opinions about the company and their optics. Do any of you have any experience with the Styrka offerings?
