I just bought a new Browning Cynergy classic and I want to pick up a couple extended choke tubes. Everyine seems to like the Diana grade for the Browning. I am new at this so I am looking for advice on some good ones to start with for mostly sporting clays. Since I am new and looking to learn about them if you can also give a reason or two as to why you like a particular tube, that will help me learn the differences. One shooter at Cabels likes Mod and light mod. Also if you can recommend best deals for buying choke tubes.
Thanks for your help.

What's the mission?

Trap requires something tight, from Light Modified to Full, depending on whether you're shooting Handicap and from what yardage.

Skeet needs Cylinder, Skeet or IC.

When I shoot my home course for Sporting Clays, I tend to use IC and LM.

There a thread in the archives called "Chokes 101". It may help you.

As for makes, there's little junk out there these days from known makers.

Angle Port has a good deal going. 5 tubes for $100, I'm happy with the ones I got for the Beretta O/U. I may get another set in Remchokes for the 870s.

I bet it took you an hour to purchase on-line at angle-port.com. Just went to the site because I never heard of them. Just could not get past the "slide show". Man what a distraction.

I like free stuff, when it's available. I just ordered a couple of chokes for my new SKB and purchased them from Carlson's for $17.95 each. They sent me a free choke case and a free choke wrench for them.
