Meet your maker ...
To
clarify, the holster makers I mentioned were just general companies not a specific style or holster feature.
The SIG Sauer 320 Compact is fairly new.
For general CCW or range use, a SERPA Blackhawk might do okay. It's secure, modular, light weight & not $100.00s retail price.
Some holster makers offer different styles. I like open end holsters(let's air move around & lets grit-lint fall out). To see a holster you can re-insert/re-holster the firearm without looking at it, one handed is worth it for defense,
.
Holsters with metal bands or stiff edges allow this.
Some makers have a front sight track or design to protect the gun front sight while you draw/holster.
Look at the stitching for nylon or leather holsters. It should be long lasting & high quality without frays or loose, poorly done seams. Some holster shops have waxed or polished edges. Some use nylon thread. It's a good idea to buy from a reputable firm with a lifetime service plan or return offer(unless you abuse or damage the product).
The major firms: Safariland, Bianchi Intl, Galco, Alessi, DeSantis, Blackhawk, Blade-tech, etc have OWB(over waist band) holsters.
I'd add a good gun belt or magazine holder with the holster is ideal. This should be a carry
system not just pieces. There are great holster type belts in different styles & widths. For a SIG Sauer P320 Compact, I'd look at a 1.5" wide belt.
