Does anyone have any suggestions for a holster to fit a Sig Sauer 9mm P320 Compact with concealed carry in mind? If you want, you can also throw in your two cents in for other stuff like ammo pouches :) Thank you.

Budget, carry style, designs-material, security etc ....

The "what type of holster" should I get for a ___ are common on firearms message boards.
First: what is your budget/price range? What materials or formats do you like; nylon, leather, Kydex, polymer, etc?
How do you want to carry or conceal the SIG? OWB? Cross-draw? Shoulder holster? MOB/SOB(small of back)?
Do you want open top/no security or retention? Or a security type holster with retention devices?
Do you have a color choice? Black, OD, FDE, camo?

Prices & styles for a carry holster vary. Wait times or delays may be common with a well known brand; Don Hume, Kramer, Mitch Rosen, R Grizle, High Noon Holsters, Milt Sparks, Alessi, Mernickle.
I'd suggest contacting the shop or maker prior to paying any $ or ordering any holsters. Be aware of the exact fit and style they can provide.

Thank you for showing me that holster selection is about as complicated as firearm selection :) Budget isn't an issue unless you're talking about really over the top exotic materials and such. I'm not too picky regarding cosmetic aspects of a holster but I would like an outside the waistband model on my strong side (non-crossdraw) and I see some kind of security (retention) device desirable so long as I still have reasonable access to it in an emergency. I will certainly contact the holster manuafactures first. I appreciate your help and input.

...I see some kind of security (retention) device desirable...
While you certainly could be somebody that needs a retention device, many folks new to holsters have the impression a gun is held in place in an open top holster by gravity alone.

A retention device is handy for open carry or rough activities such as dirt bike riding or horseback riding, but for most concealed carry users an open top holster will provide plenty of retention.

For instance, among the recommendations Rusty gave above, many of those holster makers don't even offer a holster with a retention device simply because they feel they are not needed.

You may have a hard time finding a holster listed for the P320 as it is a fairly new gun. Holster makers may have it in their line-up, but not listed on their website. For instance, I checked Alessi ( http://www.alessigunholsters.com/alessi-holsters-cqc-holster-for-sig-sauer-guns/ ) as an example, and they didn't list the P320. The P250 may be close enough, but I'm not that familiar with the two guns. The kydex makers generally do a better job of keeping their websites up to date.

Meet your maker ...

To clarify, the holster makers I mentioned were just general companies not a specific style or holster feature.
The SIG Sauer 320 Compact is fairly new.
For general CCW or range use, a SERPA Blackhawk might do okay. It's secure, modular, light weight & not $100.00s retail price.
Some holster makers offer different styles. I like open end holsters(let's air move around & lets grit-lint fall out). To see a holster you can re-insert/re-holster the firearm without looking at it, one handed is worth it for defense, ;) .
Holsters with metal bands or stiff edges allow this.
Some makers have a front sight track or design to protect the gun front sight while you draw/holster.
Look at the stitching for nylon or leather holsters. It should be long lasting & high quality without frays or loose, poorly done seams. Some holster shops have waxed or polished edges. Some use nylon thread. It's a good idea to buy from a reputable firm with a lifetime service plan or return offer(unless you abuse or damage the product).
The major firms: Safariland, Bianchi Intl, Galco, Alessi, DeSantis, Blackhawk, Blade-tech, etc have OWB(over waist band) holsters.
I'd add a good gun belt or magazine holder with the holster is ideal. This should be a carry system not just pieces. There are great holster type belts in different styles & widths. For a SIG Sauer P320 Compact, I'd look at a 1.5" wide belt.

Tucker Gun Leather lists the P320 for their holsters. I have the HF-1 on order for my P320 Carry, which -for the part of the gun that will be in the holster- is the same as the Compact.

It'll look like this (black cherry color) with black thread (the holster and the matching double mag pouch)
