Suicide by motorcycle gang/stupid mother

Its 2230. Quiet evening, birds are singing etc. NNNRRAAAUUGHH! Group of bikers drives to their HQ which is in old garage in nearby industrial area. (Empty because its 22.30 pm) My mother goes ballistic goes after them. Unarmed. She hates guns. I go after her and ask "Where are you going?"
"Nowhere, this just my evening walk..."
"Should i get gun?"
"No, guns are bad, we dont need guns." (God, if had known what she was about to do, I had ran back to get some serious hardware...)

She notices an open garage door and several bikes. She rushes in (God, she is SO STUPID) and starts shouting to 2 meter tall fat biker which is luckily bit too drunk too anything. She even managed to tell them exactly where we live. The rest of the bikers come to the door and tried to stop us from leaving. My mom and fat biker bitch are about start a fight. I managed to them out of it. I tell her that we cant do anything or prove anything, so we should get hell outta there and fast. No she pissed because she thinks im on their side.

'Scuse me, but it sounds like Mater is the one who got things going. If it's the biker's Hq, they've been there before, right? You've already known about that? And, if it's their Hq, don't they have a right to be there? As in, paying rent?

Are their bikes' exhausts louder than your law allows?

And what have they done that's new and different and now unduly disturbing? If it's "more of the same", why have you not complained to the authorities before now?

My recommendation is that a fella start unloading magazines and practice thinking calmly about life outside of prison...

Sympathies, 8Balls - --

I had a mother who was similarly unrestrained in expressing displeasure toward offensive people.

BUT - - - If she is so anti-gun, is she one of those who feels the police have a duty to protect each person? Why, then, did she not get on the phone and call the police to deal with the unreasonable noise and neighborhood disturbance? In fact, why didn't YOU make the call before you tagged along with her.

Even the crudest bikers may have SOME qualms about physically harming some decent woman, but you, as her "protector" and escort, might have been fair game for them to make their (imbecilic) points.

I know nothing of the laws of your fair country, but would think there is SOME regulation about noise and unreasonable disturbances.

Also--You might well expect the bikers will take a ride through your neighborhood, just to prove they aren't intimidated by the womn. Please, PLEASE, hold off on any pre-emptive action against them if there is no direct physical confrontation.

I fully realize that there are a LOT of offensive people who "Clearly Need Killing." Problem, no one appointed you, or me, to do the job unless we are in actual physical danger, and even then, there is always some accounting and justification to be done.

Please tell everyone what these "bikers" did to warrant your mother entering their "HQ". If it was that bad the police should have been called.


I am a motorcycle enthusiast for 30 years now , 28 years on a Harley. 1. If someone entered my property uninvited, in an unfriendly manner, the very least that would happen is I would use their head to make an "imbecilic point". 2.(offensive people "Who clearly need killing") Those thoughts will manifest themselves in someway,someday and cause a lot of problems.

Loud pipes save lives? Loud pipes keep me awake in the middle of the night when the biker come and go. I mean on saturdays and sundays, on fridays young "car enthusiastics" set up their illegal street races. See, thats why I NEED the spike strip.

Let's see if this can be expressed VERY simply - - -

No one here is going to tell you it's okay for you to shoot any bikers, or anyone else. If your life is really in danger, you'll know it, and won't need any advice from any of us.

Aside from it being against THR policy to help others plan illegal acts, most of the members here are fairly rational and restrained persons. As I mentioned before, I don't know the laws of Finland, but I'll bet my next paycheck that it is against the law, and I mean ILLEGAL, for private individuals to booby trap public streets. No one's going to advise you on how to do it.

If you feel put upon in an illegal manner, CALL THE POLICE and explain the situation.

I'll come right out and say it - - -
DO NOT SHOOT any of those guys who are just passing your residence.
DO NOT PUT OUT SPIKES on a public roadway. Or caltrops. Or mines.

Just call this pretty good advice. I don't believe in telling other members what they MUST do, or even what they SHOULD do. The above is about as strongly as I can state this advice.

Johnny, im not about to shoot anyone. I hope I never have to. I usually field strip my guns when come from the range. After cleaning I hide the barrels to garage and put the rest to my gun safe. Right now (because of this) I have one operational pistol nearby, just in case.

This is a remakaably bad idea...If I hit the spike strips on my bike whoever puth them there better hope it kills me.

If the noise bothers you that much, you might consider asking them nicely, when they are sober, to quiet it down a little...you might be suprised at the response you get. A neighbor of mine recently complained to me about my pipes being too loud...now I make a point not gun it going by his house..no biggie. I ride with some really rough looking guys, who would give a stranger the shirt off thier back if they were treated with a little respect.

just ask them politley to keep it down,
if that dog don't hunt,call the police...
if that doesn't work then you start figuring
something else...I lived in Ireland
and my neighbors would blast that
loud dance music that all unemployed
young europeans love so much(at 4 am),after finding out

And while I have nothing AGAINST loud pipes, they don't save lives. Stop spouting that nonsensical line. It belongs right next to "helmets cause more injuries" (and I used to ride without a lid when it was legal). They only guy in a fast-moving cage who notices your open pipes is the cager inching over from the next lane. They (loud pipes) are, howver, likely to eventually restrict our ability to modify our two-wheeled rides.
