Running a feeder and two deercams through the summer. Every year is a little different. The does don't look as pregnant as I remember from last year. The bucks are growing new horns, most just out to six inches or so. Not as much activity as last year either it seems, and last year about this time I had deer slashed up by a cat in the area. All of the survivors, some with what looked like serious wounds, survived.

Coons, crows, squirrels, armadillo, possum, dogs. The usual traffic. Swapping cards on cams every three days or so.

Moultrie is using one of my photos from last year on their deercam packaging. I'm not sure which one but I'm sure I will recognize it.

Range is in great shape this year. Not like our drouth last year and the one before. Plenty to eat.

Thinking about adding a couple more cams deep in the woods or on a creek crossing. I think the really big bucks quit coming to feeders.
