After taking a break and losing the club championship shoot off by one bird, I started back up in my two summer leagues. Home club first shoot, 24@16, 25@20. Peoria first week 24@16, 25@23. See a pattern? Might go to imp mod from full @ sixteen.
BTW, 46 year old 870 TB, 30" full, 1 oz 8 for 16, 1 1/8 oz 7 1/2 @ handicap. Worked for 46 years for this 73 year old trap junkie.

Update...we are in first place in division one and now back to 26 yards. Reality will set in tomorrow night.

Reality set in. I dropped three and the rest of the crew did worse.......197/250. Gonna have to do some encouraging. But, we'll be back at 23 yards

After week six at Peoria, we are in first place in division 1 by ten birds. Also back to 25 yards. Wind is really playing a part in this. A couple of my newer shooters (new to the sport) are really stepping up their game. Our team average is now a little over 215.
My team at the home club is also leading the league there. I email all of the members before each shoot and they are some "new" shooters who are helping out. (you get a bonus bird if more than five members show up and shoot).
Fun and games in my mid 70s.
