Super Colibri experiences??

My experiences:

Very quiet, but not very powerful. Wouldn't choose to use it on anything larger than a smallish bird if I wanted to kill it. That said, a good hit at close range could probably take a squirrel or rabbit out.
Better: suppressed .22?

I've shot a lot of them in bolt actions and lever actions. I don't think they would cycle your semi-auto.
They are quiet. All I hear when shooting is the click of the hammer dropping and the thwap of the bullet hitting the target.
I do know that they aren't all that quiet in a Ruger Single Six wheelgun though.

In my experience, CB caps are far better than the Colibri offerings. Of course the Colibri's are a little quieter. It depends on what you want to do with them.
I did a little experiment once with a friend of mine that claimed that CB caps were useless for anything except plinking and that getting shot with one would be about as bad as getting hit by a pellet gun.
I found an old and beat up (but still functional) hardhat that was down in the barn and set it on the ground. I stood back about 10 feet and fired a CB out of an old bolt action that we were plinking with. The bullet went through one side of the hardhat and burried itself in the other side!
I then went inside and got my pellet gun and shot the hat with it. It made a deep dent, but it did not penetrate the helmet. I know this pellet gun is capable of killing possum sized animals with one shot, having done it before (head shot from about the same distance).
Whatever you decide to get, be careful, and the same rules apply as apply to any other gun. I am almost positive a Colibri or a CB cap can kill under the right (or wrong as the case may be) circumstances.

And *do* make sure the bullet clears the barrel -- I haven't had one lodge in there, but the disclaimer does give one pause.

Colibri and RWS BB and CB's are the quietest 22 rounds you will find when fired in a rifle. The RWS ammo has such short cases that feeding in anything but a singe shot is iffy.
My 24" barreled Rossi pump rifle fires Colibri just fine. The first ones I fired were at the rifle range and all I could hear was the hammer falling till I took out my ear plugs. My RWS magnum air rifle makes more noise than Colibri ammo does.
Chronographing the Colibri and Super Colibri I got 375fps and 475fps out of my rifle.

What you going to use it for? 
IME, CB longs work fine for squirrels. The Colibri stuff is inhumane even with head shots.

The Colibri's are the quietest.
The loudest "subsonic" .22 rounds I've fired is match grade ammo. Most of the good brands won't exceed 1,100 fps at sea level.

I also shot one in my CZ and the bullet lodged in the barrel. I think the CB caps are the way to go if your after something quiet and want some accuracy.

I recently bought a couple of boxes of Super Colibris to test out and play with. These things are addicting. I ordered two more bricks. I shoot them out of my Winchester M-290 and haven't had a problem with them yet. They feed well enough from the tube magazine, but the bolt has to be manually operated since there isn't enough oomf to cycle the action.
I've used them in my house with a 1/2" marine plywood back stop. They are powerful enough to consistently stick flush in the plywood. Ones that don't usually spend their energy and drop straight down on the floor. Almost all deform and mushroom to some degree. All have been very accurate from living room to kitchen distances. As far as their performance on living creatures don't use them on anything you wouldn't use a pellet gun on. They do however put the smack down on magpies.
One thing about the my Winchester is that it has a 20" barrel. The bore has been conditioned regularly with Tetra lube, which may have some bearing on why I haven't had a bullet stuck in the barrel yet.

The sniper assumes that classic "marine sniper drawing" pose, seated, elbows on knees and slides his cheek along the rifles stock to achieve the perfect eye relief through his Bushnell 3x3x32

The camera does the cheesy through the scope shot and as the focus becomes clear, there we see the snipers nemesis...... the Possum
The possum is casually eating the cats food and is unaware of the danger

The Possum looks up in alarm at the sound of the sniper clicking off the safety, not seeing the sniper (the art of camoflauge!!) he goes back to the cat food.
We see the snipers finger take the slack out of the trigger and then hold at the breaking point, the cross hairs are lined up directly under the Possums ear. Tension builds as the eerie music swells.............
Anyway, suffice to say that the sniper forgot to click any adjustments in his elevation, (the rifle being previously zeroed at 25 yds) and the possum lived to see another day. Dohh

Hum......can you see though yer scope on your .22lr rifle with a liter bottle attached? Seriously, try the Aguila super sub sniper. They usually cycle, are quit silent out of a rifle, and penetrate 1/8" steal sheeting at 5 yrds, so they should take care of that poor misunderstood possum, that is just trying to get along. Personally, I'm a sucker...I'd probably just bring in the cat food, or feed the little #astard. I once shot a kit fox with rubber buckshot, and he came back, so I just let e'm. He really wasnt hurting much, and my cats were bigger than him. So I filled the bowl when it was empty. He didnt invite friends, so we got along. He wasnt too happy about the rubber buck though.

All this in the city no less. The invaders harass her cat and hiss at her and she got kinda scared and called for backup. That the whole story.
I personally would doubt that the .22gr super colibri at 350-500fps would be an effective possom killer, certainly doubtful as anti racoon bullet- the ones we have here in N. CA seem to be around 30lbs (I am cursed with a family of 5).
But I would love it if you posted your results.
One thing I used to do while shooting these out of my Ruger pistol (louder than rifle), was that I would shoot from inside the room so that the room would contain most of the sound. Wear hearing protection and be aware that the primer smoke really stinks. Never heard any complaints.
