I am doing a couple of AR15 builds from Superior Arms stripped lowers. They have an extra tapped hole next to where the pistol grip attachment screw is inserted that is for a set screw that can be adjusted to take up the trigger creep.
The lowers I bought came w/o the set screws installed. I met the Pres. of Superior at SHOT who said he would send them to me if I sent him a reminder. Two reminders later -- no response.
I'm sure the postage is greater than the cost of the screws and wouldn't mind picking them up myself at the local hardware store -- if I knew the size and thread. They appear to be 1/4 " dia. and a fairly fine thread, but I can't get a thread gauge into the hole to check it and don't have a male thread to check.
Does anyone know the size of these set screws?
Thanks.
