I've used several types of gun oil's and they were all about the same, then last week I tried using some synthetic grease I had bought for the polyurethane bushings in my car and this stuff is GREAT for the barrel bushings and slide of semi-autos, it makes the slide feel super smooth compared to any oil I've used, I have a couple hundered rounds each in the 3 pistols I have tried it on "Colt Mustang, Springfield 1911 and XD9 Service" and the grease is still clean looking and still covers the bushing and slide areas well. I might try the oil next on the internal parts, I'm not affiliated with the company, just thought I would pass on the info. I've never seen it in stores anywhere, I ordered it from the website. Here is the webpage....

I have used it too on tools but not guns, I have found it to be a dust and dirt attractant. I do not use grease on guns, just light lube oil. only a .22 greasse may have enough stiction to alter operation.

I've used superlube on my skeet over&under for years. It works well.
Also does good on choke tube threads.
